I saw an item in a store photo that I’d like to buy, is it still available?
We love sharing photos of our store and furniture vignettes, they really showcase how our pieces can make a space. We are often asked if a specific piece in a photo of our store is available, and the answer: probably not. Our pieces move quickly; if you want to see if an item is available, please browse our online catalog. The category and search system can help you find what you’re looking for.
How can I find a specific item on the website?
Try using our search tool using keywords or clicking on the category you think would be most likely to hold the item and browse from there. For example, if you found a mirror you fancied in one of our store photos, you could either use the keyword “mirror” in our search tool or go to the “Artwork & Mirrors” category.
Can I pay with cash through the website?
While cash payment is always an option in the brick and mortar store, cash is not an option for shopping through our website. So, if you prefer cash payment, you can stop by our store and shop in person.
Is there shipping available?
Local delivery within DC is available, you only need to call the store directly to arrange a delivery. We currently don't have any options to ship nationwide.
What’s the best way to see new items?
The best way to keep up-to-date on all the newest items is to follow us on Instagram and hit the notification button. This way you’ll always be among the first to hear of GoodWood’s new stock. There is also a section on our home page where you’ll be able to see any recently added items on the website.
Do you buy items from individuals?
Short answer - No. Our business model is purchase directly from auction. This is how we can keep our costs down. We own everything we sell, eliminating any additional markup.

When will my order be ready?
After purchasing an item through our Ecommerce website, you will receive a confirmation email. Your item(s) are available for pick up immediately after you receive this confirmation receipt. You must pick up your item within seven days of purchase, or arrange for the item to be sent by local delivery by calling the store directly. If you have any questions about your order, the fastest way to get assistance is to call the store at 202-986-3640.
